The Law of Assumption is a universal truth and once you learn of it, you see it everywhere. Recently, a commercial played the old song, "Don't Worry, Be Happy." As I sang the words in my head... "In this life there may be trouble, but when you worry, you make it double..." I heard The Law.
What we assume, we create.
Worry is an assumption. An assumption that something is to be feared.
And, it's not that we double the trouble, it's that we activate the circumstance in a particular direction by giving it the meaning "this is something bad, something to worry about."
Life becomes exactly what you assume.
Neville instructs us to see everything as beneficial, as part of our bridge intended, not to harm us or punish us, but to purify us on our journey to our wish fulfilled.
I had a recent wonderful experience, as I typically do when I suspend meaning making related to a circumstance I do not prefer.
I had a sudden debt applied to me. The reason I incurred the debt was something very essential and ultimately, positive, and so I assumed that the debt would not be a problem. In other words, I assumed the debt was nothing to worry about and I focused on how much I benefited from the situation that created it.
I made several financial adjustments so I could make payments towards the debt and I did so happily and with peace.
In other words, I had no "worry" about my "trouble."
Within less than two months of payments, I received a written communication that the business to whom I owed the debt had chosen to forgive 80% of it despite my never requesting this or doing anything to bring it about.
Each situation in your life is offering you the opportunity to see The Law's truth and power and live more freely and more happily. It just takes the faith to try and assume the best.
