Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory LeRoy P. Wooster, CFSP
Owner/Manager
N.J. Lic. No. 3820 The LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home was established in 1952 by LeRoy Purley Wooster. In 1972, Mr.

The building was originally a large home at the corner of White Horse Pike & Cooper Folly Rd. that was converted into a funeral home and the family residence. In 1962 an extensive addition was added giving the funeral home one of the largest viewing rooms in the area. Wooster added a crematory and the business became the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, as we know it today. This unique addition made our business one of only two funeral home operated crematories in the state of New Jersey

In 1976, founder and owner LeRoy P. Wooster passed away unexpectedly. With the help of professionally licensed staff, his wife, Alice Wooster maintained the business until her son LeRoy P. Wooster received his funeral directors license in 1986 introducing the second generation of the family into the business. Today, over 60 years later, the funeral home continues to be owned and operated by LeRoy P. Wooster who continues his father's legacy with the help of a dedicated, caring and professional staff.

A Hearse is a symbol of reverence, carrying loved ones to their final resting place with dignity and respect. When asked, “Why use a Hearse for an Urn?” The answer shines bright: to honor their memory with the utmost respect and dignity. Whether in a casket or urn, a hearse brings solace, marking the beginning of a farewell journey with love and reverence. A hearse is also used to help identify the beginning of a funeral procession.
