Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory LeRoy P. Wooster, CFSP
Owner/Manager
N.J. Lic. No. 3820 The LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home was established in 1952 by LeRoy Purley Wooster. In 1972, Mr.

The building was originally a large home at the corner of White Horse Pike & Cooper Folly Rd. that was converted into a funeral home and the family residence. In 1962 an extensive addition was added giving the funeral home one of the largest viewing rooms in the area. Wooster added a crematory and the business became the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, as we know it today. This unique a

ddition made our business one of only two funeral home operated crematories in the state of New Jersey

In 1976, founder and owner LeRoy P. Wooster passed away unexpectedly. With the help of professionally licensed staff, his wife, Alice Wooster maintained the business until her son LeRoy P. Wooster received his funeral directors license in 1986 introducing the second generation of the family into the business. Today, over 60 years later, the funeral home continues to be owned and operated by LeRoy P. Wooster who continues his father's legacy with the help of a dedicated, caring and professional staff.

Always a pleasure to take part in Winslow Township High School's Operation Prom. Showing the students the effects of driving under the influence. Today, students attending this year's prom watched as a mock car accident took place with members from Winslow Police Dept., EMS, and Fire Dept. all present to show what happens at the scene of the accident.

We hope this made a lasting impression on the students and we also hope they have a safe and fun prom.

James A. Barry Jr.

It is with deep love and sorrow we announce the passing of James A. Barry Jr. "Jimmy", of Lindenwold, age 71 - a devoted husband, cherished father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, beloved brother and loyal friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Regina Barry (Krauss) of Lindenwold, his daughters Jeanine Niedoba of Atco and Christine Cullinan of Lindenwold along with his 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his sisters, Gerri Matkowski and Carol Barry and extended family and friends. Jimmy was predeceased by his son Michael, parents, James and Geraldine Barry and brother, Robert Barry.

Jimmy was a man whose life was defined not by titles, but the way he showed up for the people he loved. He stayed true to what he believed in and never gave up on the people that mattered the most. He was a man of faith which he found even more comforting as years progressed.

As a husband he was a true partner, offering unwavering support, humor and a love that carried his family through every chapter of life. As a father, Jimmy led by example. His strength, patience, and guidance shaped the lives of his children, leaving behind a legacy that will continue for generations. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren will remember him for his warmth, his stories, and the way he made even the simplest of moments feel special. As a brother he shared a lifelong bond built on family, memories and love.

Jimmy found great joy in simple pleasures and friendly competition. He loved playing softball, horseshoes, bowling and darts - earning many trophies along the way and creating countless memories with friends and family. He was an avid sports fan of the Eagles, Phillies and Sixers rarely missing a game and enjoyed being an armchair coach.

He took pride in the many years he worked for Pathmark as a grocery manager. His dedication and work ethic were evident to all those who worked with him.

Though he is no longer with us, the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the memories he created will remain forever. Jimmy's memory will live on in the hearts of those that knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Cremation will be held privately. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004, with the service and eulogies to follow at 1:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his memory to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital. Condolences may be shared on his tribute wall.

William H. Gatchel Jr., 79, of Glassboro, NJ, was led home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 5, 2026.

He was born April 5, 1947, in Woodbury, NJ, to William H. Gatchel Sr. and Marion V. (Bates) Gatchel.

He was the beloved husband and best friend of Margaret A. (Nicholas) Gatchel of Glassboro, NJ. Loving father of Jennifer M. Gatchel and William H. Gatchel III (Edwina), both of Glassboro, NJ. Proud Pop-Pop to Hayley C. Schmidt and Noah G. Schmidt.

He is also survived by Edna M. Rohloff (William), Linda Gatchel (Robert), Larry Murphy (Barbara), and James Galley (Nancy), along with many nieces and nephews.

William proudly served his country in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant while stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War, where he worked as a radio and coding operator. Margaret and William met in February 1970 at her home in Berlin, NJ. Later that month, he stopped by the house and was so nervous. Instead of asking her out, he asked, "Is Gus here?" (his brother Bobby). It took another two weeks for him to gather the courage to finally ask, "Wanna take a ride?".

He was a serious, dependable, protective, caring and loving husband for 55 years. He affectionately called Margaret "woman," and she called him "my love."

"I would do it all over again," Margaret said.

They had two beautiful children together, whom he loved and protected deeply. He will be missed beyond words.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 10:00am to 12:00pm followed by a funeral service and Military Honors at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Cremation will be private.

Patricia Carol Chance

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Patricia Chance, a truly beautiful soul, a mother, sister, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and spirit touched all who knew her.

Patricia was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome, loved, and cared for. Kind, generous, and full of life, she had a mischievous spark and a spontaneous nature that brought joy and laughter into everyday moments. Her heart was truly made of gold, and she carried with her a dreamer's spirit that never faded.

For many years, Patricia worked as a deli server, where she became a familiar and cherished presence in her community. She took great pride in her work, especially when it came to decorating the store for the holidays, transforming ordinary days into something festive and full of cheer.

She was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and rarely missed a chance to cheer them on. At home, Patricia was happiest when surrounded by family, hosting lively gatherings filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. Her sisters meant the world to her, and the bond they shared was one of deep love and lifelong friendship.

Above all, Patricia's children were her lifeline, the center of her world, and the greatest source of her pride and joy. That love only grew as she became a grandmother, cherishing each of her five grandchildren with boundless affection.

Patricia is survived by her two loving children, Donald H. Chance Jr. (Kelly) and Tracy Taylor (Richard), her five treasured grandchildren, Frederick Casario, Ayden, Maggie, Nathaniel Taylor, and Jesse Holmin, her two devoted sisters, Joyce Wicker (Gregory) and Deborah Woolwine, her two nephews, Gregory and Glenn Wicker, her niece Jennifer Fadio, great nieces, Arianny, Summer, Ariella and great Nephew E.J.
