Hello beautiful Athens,

My wife and I walked into Ghost, then located in Clayton, 3 years ago. During an amazing conversation with Dave, I said, “Hey, this place needs a Tarot reader.” The rest is history. I Sat up my table the following month and had 22 readings on my 1st day.

I read at Ghost once a month for almost a year when Dave decided to make Tarot a permanent part of their wonderful shop. An amazing space was constructed ‘under the stairs’ and I became Owner/Operator of Mystic Tarot located within Ghost. We built an amazing community of mystics and offered readings with a rotation of Tarot Practitioners every Saturday and Sunday.

Now, with Ghost in Athens, my title is different, but what we are creating is very similar. We have an awesome family of Readers, several of which started with us in Clayton, to educate and share their insight and wisdom on all things ‘mystic’ with you.
Currently, we offer 15 minute readings on a walk-in basis every Saturday, and will be expanding to other days of the week in the near future. We also offer 30 minute and 1 hour readings by appointment only. DM me for any additional info and to set up a session with one of our amazing readers.

Melanie has been collecting tarot decks for over 20 years, and reading for the past 8 years professionally. She trained in Atlanta with Kelly Knight of Modern Mystic and continues her studies with Theresa Reed. She’s also a medium, having studied with Suzanne Giesemann the last two years. She speaks with the deceased, channels spirit guides, and conducts paranormal investigations.

I slipped into the background at Mystic back in January when my first case of COVID caught me off guard. The good thing is it raised my awareness about my own wellbeing and health. Dave, Robby, and our awesome readers have been amazing and I am back on solid ground. I wouldn’t miss reading Tarot .apothecary on their last day in Clayton for anything in the world. Ghost and Mystic Tarot are my homes away from home, and the beautiful people I have met on this journey have become family.

Trinity is coming back to Mystic Tarot this Saturday, 12-5, and we would like to shine a little light on our resident psychic.
