Oconee School of Therapeutic Massage Our mission is to inspire passion for the art and science of massage therapy, and to provide exceptional bodywork experiences for clients.

Our full-time and part-time massage therapy programs are designed to ignite students’ passion for the art and science of massage therapy. Our program is student-centered and research-based. We focus on relevant material taught through living literature, which gives students an integrated understanding of the affects that massage has on the body. Students will build a 3-D model of human anatomy, re

ad and write research papers, and practice precise clinical and manual skills. We make time for each student to practice on their instructor to ensure good quality of touch. We teach a variety of treatment styles including myofascial release and deep tissue techniques. Students will be able to effectively treat 13 common conditions so they can leave our program confident in their ability to be effective massage therapists.

Many of you have asked what’s next as our massage therapy program closes.

If you’re going to miss Student Clinic, don’t despair, Strada Institute is opening just 5 minutes from where our school was, with an on‑site student clinic.

It has been a pleasure working with our clinic clients the last five years! I’m sorry that we will no longer be able to offer student clinic massages, as we won’t have any new students. Our almost 80 graduates are out in the community working, and we are happy to make recommendations to their professional services. We wish you all the best!
