We help them choose where they want to live, with whom they want to live, and how they want to live. Direct Support Professionals assist people, providing support at varying levels, ranging from a few hours a day to 24/7 support. Our dedicated staff provide one-on-one supp

ort in all areas of the person’s life, enabling each individual to pursue his or her hopes and dreams, to be active in the community, and to live the best life possible. We maintain the highest level of accreditation with The Council on Quality and Leadership and are licensed as a private home care provider with the state of Georgia.

“Georgia options is important to me because I get to work with the most amazing people. My clients are disabled and want to live in their own homes. While working with clients, I get to accompany them anywhere into the community, and they get to select where they they want to go, what they want to do and who they want to see. 🌟 Staff Spotlight: Lisa Parrot 🌟
At Georgia Options, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Lisa Parrot, our incredible Coach Specialist II, whose dedication and expertise continue to inspire everyone around her.

With over 17 years of experience supporting and advocating for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), Lisa brings both passion and professionalism to her role. As a Coach Specialist, she provides hands-on training, oversight, and problem-solving strategies for our team—serving not only as a leader but as a role model for current and future coaches.

Lisa is deeply committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, consistently attending trainings and conferences to stay informed on best practices in IDD services. She also gives back to the field as a proud board member of the DSP Advocacy Council, helping empower and elevate the voices of Direct Support Professionals across Georgia.

Her training includes Person-Centered Thinking, Crisis Prevention Intervention, Supported Decision-Making, and more. She also holds certifications in Social Role Valorization and has completed the TAP DSP I & II programs through UGA.
