As I sit here in the clinic tonight, I’m overwhelmed thinking about the last four years of this journey. When we first opened Hydration Lounge, I was honestly scared. I don’t have a business degree—my background is in healthcare—and I wasn’t sure how I was going to manage all the things a small business needs.

This past year especially has been a whirlwind. There have been a lot of highs and a lot of lows. Running a small business is hard. It’s a 24/7 job, and some days feel heavier than others.

But tonight, as I work a late shift and help a fellow community member who wasn’t feeling well, I’m reminded why we started. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to serve this community. I’m grateful for what God has provided through this clinic, and I pray that He continues to give me the strength to keep going for many years to come.
