Children and teens drown in open water about as often as in pools. However, lakes, oceans, and rivers have hidden hazards (like dangerous currents, sudden drop-offs, and limited visibility) that make swimming in open water different. If your family is spending the 4th of July by the beach or lake, remember to teach your kids how to swim in open water and use a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket appropriate for the child’s weight and water activity.

TEEN DRIVERS

Join us Saturday, March 8 for a Teen Driving Roadeo at Clarke Central High School.

The event is FREE and open to ANY high school student ages 15-17 years old with a valid permit or license.

We’ll be providing vehicles for a live crash scene and jaws of life demonstration. There will also be a rollover simulator, DUI goggle course, training courses, and more!

An awesome experience for any new driver.
