I am often asked if I am a Christian counselor.
My answer to that valid question is: I am a Christian and I am a clinical mental health counselor.

The two are not mutually exclusive. One doesn’t require separation from the other in the therapy world.

My aim in counseling is transparency if asked about my personal faith as a believer. My aim is also not to impose my beliefs onto you as my client. If asked, I will expose my belief, yet not impose my faith.

If asked, I will graciously pray with you, and look at biblical scripture with you.

If you prefer not to address spiritual matters and faith in your counseling, I respectfully honor your request.

You have a place and are welcome in my therapy practice.
