Stiff hips? Low back tension? Let’s loosen things up with this powerful hip flexor stretch!
This move is perfect if you’ve been sitting too much or feeling tight in your hips — and it only takes a minute to feel the difference.

Tuck your pelvis – Think “tailbone under” to get a true stretch through the front of the hip.
Keep your chest tall – Don’t lean forward; keep a strong, upright posture.
Drive through the heel – Press into the front heel for better glute engagement.
Slow & controlled – No bouncing! Breathe deep and hold steady.

Movement Monday: Patella Mobilization 🚶‍♂️🏃‍♀️
Does the front of your knee ever feel tight, click, or just “off” when you squat, run, or go down stairs?
Today’s Movement Monday drill—a simple patella (kneecap) glide—helps keep the kneecap moving freely so your whole knee tracks the way it should.
Why it matters
When the patella gets sticky, the cartilage underneath takes the hit. Gentle mobilization improves circulation, reduces irritation, and restores smooth tracking so every lunge, jump, and stride feels better.
How to do it (video below):
Sit with your leg straight and thigh muscles relaxed.
Using the pads of your thumbs and index fingers, glide the kneecap side-to-side — then up-and-down—keeping pressure light (think “coin sliding under the skin,” not pushing into the joint).
30-60 seconds each direction, 2-3 rounds. Breathe and keep the quad loose.
Pro-tip: If it feels sore, back off the pressure. Consistency beats intensity. Do it daily before workouts or anytime your knees need a quick reset.
