What’s the biggest myth that is pervasive in women’s healthcare? It’s simple.

There’s a belief that hormones are the source of PMS symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, bloating, mood, and a host of others. This is FALSE!

New research shows that although symptoms do correlate with hormonal changes, hormones are not the cause. The root problem is a neuropeptide toxin that is released from the degraded endometrium.

Aubrey Roberds is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about women's health, hormone education, and shared-decision making to ensure every care plan is tailored to the patient's individual needs. Aubrey practiced as a labor and delivery nurse for 4.5 years prior to attending Brenau University where she obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner with Summa Cum Laude honors. Aubrey currently lives in Athens, GA with her husband, daughter, and German Shorthaired Pointer, Loamy. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and cheering on the dawgs!!
