It's a rainy day but that didn't stop these ladies from catching their very first fish with the help of volunteer Bill (when the ponds were safe to fish on, of course!)

This past Saturday, TFFC had the pleasure of hosting the inaugural Reeling in the Possibilities event! We look forward to hosting this incredible opportunity again next year.

First fish Friday! Congratulations to the kiddos that came today on a field trip and caught their very first fish.

One angler, two lunkers. Congratulations Lawrence on getting both SL 699 and SL 700 from the same reservoir on the same day!

Lawrence Lee just had a Double Lunker Day! He landed ShareLunker 700 weighing in at 13.57 pounds from J.B. Thomas.

TPWD biologists certified and collected catch and genetic information on this fish. Because of Lawrence’s willingness to donate and coordinate with TPWD to provide this valuable data, he will receive all prizes and accolades associated with the Legacy Class. Thank you for your contribution to bigger, better bass in Texas!

NOTE: Please continue to call in your 13+ pound Legacy Class ShareLunkers. The spawning collection season is still underway through the end of March. All eligible catches will receive all prizes and accolades associated with the Legacy Class, including a fiberglass replica of their ShareLunker.

After a successful collection season, our remaining lunker holding tanks will be reserved for fish selected at our discretion to help enhance program needs. We appreciate the strong support of our valued anglers.

For those fish not transported to TFFC, TPWD biologists will collect genetic and catch information to help further evaluate and guide future stocking and management efforts.

Thank you for your contribution to bigger, better bass in Texas!
