ApproXie was founded to change the current healthcare experience for patients and care providers. The clinic's journey started long before it's physical location. It started as a software technology project enabling patients to go straight from the couch to the clinic room without waiting. During residency, Dr. Shah realized providers face large financial barriers (e.g. high dollar real-estate, marketing, etc) to opening an independent clinic. At the same time, patients can't access the care they need. He focused his attention on building technology services that lowered the cost burden for care providers and boosted their brand awareness while facilitating same day visits and referrals for patients. The project is called ApproXie which derives it's name from the latin word "proximus" meaning near to. The "X" is always capitalized because it symbolizes connectivity. With Heather's help and support, the first ApproXie Urgent Care clinic was born. It is the hardware to the software we will soon introduce our patients to. Your care here will only get better, more efficient, and more cost friendly.
