Nishka is a second year student who will be attending UGA starting the spring semester. She is majoring in Public health and plans to attend medical school after graduation. She enjoys swimming and cooking.

At Atlas Spine and Balance, we credit the success we have had in our community to the work of Dr. Roy Sweat. Dr. Sweat is the founder of Chiropractic Atlas Orthogonality, the program that focuses on the upper cervical spine. He founded this program in 1980 after developing the Atlas Orthogonal Instrument. Before this, he graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Iowa in 1950. Dr. Sweat opened his own practice in Atlanta in 1953, where he practiced until just before his passing in 2022. We are thankful for all Dr. Sweat did for the advancement of chiropractic care!

Our July charity was ! They are a non-profit organization that works to prevent child abuse and neglect in the Athens area. We are thankful for the opportunity to support this important cause!

This is a friendly reminder that Dr. Greller will be out of the office from Wednesday, August 13 through Tuesday, August 19. Dr. Kathryn Maloof will be filling in on Thursday, August 14 and will be available to take appointments. Austin will also be available on August 13th, 14th, and 19th to take massage appointments. Dr. Greller will return to the clinic on August 20th. We will also have office hours on the morning of Friday, August 22nd, 9 AM-12 PM. Please contact the office at 706-543-5212 if you would like to schedule any appointments.

This weekend we got to celebrate the wedding of our first office intern, . She worked in our office from 2019 through the summer of 2020 and is now an established chiropractor in Athens!

Meet our newest interns!

Ella is going into her senior year at UGA. She is majoring in Exercise and Sport Science with a plan to attend physical therapy school next year. She enjoys working out and walks with friends.

Esha is a student going into her third year at UGA. She is majoring in Biology and hopes to attend an anesthesiologist assistant program after graduation. She enjoys going to the gym and trying new foods.

This is a friendly reminder that Atlas Spine and Balance will be CLOSED from June 9th to June 13th. Dr. Kathryn Maloof will be filling in for Dr. Evan Greller on June 17th and June 19th and will be available to take appointments. Austin Yang will also be available on June 17th, 18th, and 19th to take massage appointments. Dr. Greller will return to the clinic on June 23rd.
