🙌 Join Gentiva Athens in making a difference! We're hosting a heartwarming food drive for the month of September, bringing our community together for a noble cause.

Last Saturday was a very eventful day we were caught in the rain but thank you to the families that brought some food out, we are still available to get donations any day be part of this meaningful initiative as we collect food donations for two amazing charitable organizations that work tirelessly to fight hunger in our community. It’s a small drive thru event to give you the opportunity to drop off your canned goods, non partible items, clothing, ect.

Every can, every package counts! Your generosity can bring a smile to someone's face and hope to their hearts. Let's show the power of unity and compassion. 🥫❤️

Drop by with your donations and help us create a positive impact. Together, we can make tomorrow a little brighter for those in need!

Gentiva Hospice Kicks Off 21st Annual Food Drive to Support Coordinated Charities & Good Faith Clinic

WHAT:
Gentiva Hospice is proud to launch its 21st Annual Food Drive on September 1, continuing its commitment to fighting food insecurity in the communities we serve. Last year, the campaign provided more than one million meals—a milestone we aim to match again this year. We invite community members to join us by donating non-perishable food items or making monetary contributions to support local hunger relief efforts.

WHY:
Hunger remains a pressing issue across the country. According to Feeding America, nearly 12 million seniors and older adults experience food insecurity. For older adults, food insecurity can severely impact health, exacerbating chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. As an organization dedicated to serving seniors, Gentiva Hospice is committed to helping ensure that no one in our community goes without this most basic need—nutritious food.

HOW TO HELP:
Throughout September, Gentiva Hospice will be collecting both food and financial donations to benefit Coordinated Charities & Good Faith Clinic..

• Food donations can be dropped off at 603 Congress Pkwy N, Athens, TN 37303.
• Monetary contributions can be made by Check or Money Order to your desire charity.
