4-week class sessions and Saturday-Intensive courses are offered on a monthly basis. The Confident Childbirth course is designed to educate women and partners about coping skills, relaxation and breathing techniques, laboring positions, birth plans, as well as provide a space for women to decide what they would like their labor and delivery experience to be like. I am an advocate for assisting women achieve the type of labor they desire. I had an amazing experience laboring and delivering naturally, and I believe that all women are capable of laboring naturally if that is what they desire. My teaching philosophy is to provide information in a fun, educational, and non-pressuring way. Just like every woman is different, every labor and delivery is different, and every woman has different ideals. I respect the decisions each woman makes for her labor and delivery because I trust that every woman makes the best decisions for her and her baby. I am a CAPPA certified childbirth education instructor. I am a clinical social worker, and I have a master's in public health. I enjoy all aspects of working with people and health, spefically women during pregnancy.
