Made a bet with the young guys about a Flu Shot this afternoon.

88F presents to Pharmacy requesting a Flu vaccine. She request roadside service as well.

The Bet: Is patient going to bleed at the injection site.

Everyone knows I claim to be the best shot since Doc Holiday.
Maybe it’s the Bolo Tie.
Maybe, I’m just that good.
Anyway, I won, no bleeding, but she did get a root beer sucker.

Come see us at Creekside. Roadside Service. Suckers. Community. Family. Fun. This is a pharmacy we are talking about. Come join the family!

Thank You everyone! The 25th Anniversary Shirts seem to be a big success.

We will be making another order soon. We will make sure to order Long Sleeve and Sweatshirts for the upcoming (arrived) cold weather.

Thank you to my 4th Grade teacher way back at Cowart Elementary. She has been a member of the Creekside Family for a long time. Also, she was a fantastic teacher.

Yesterday, I promised her I would do research about a certain drug interaction that is extremely important and could mean life or death. A few hours later, I was able to respond with the appropriate medical answer.

SHE BROUGHT US COOKIES!! She absolutely did not need to do this. All this represents is the power of the Athens Creekside Drugs family.

Life is good when you let people know they are valued. You can be 34 or in the 4th grade:
Real genuine care knows no bounds.

Athens Creekside Drugs is the longest family owned pharmacy in Limestone County because we have a belief in family. We are a family. Our very first dollar came from Scott Waldrop. We are a football family. We are a farming family. We are a pharmacy family. Most importantly, WE ARE A FAMILY!

Pat Waldrop would say, it isn’t the toughest who win. It isn’t the strongest who win. It isn’t the meanest who win. It might help, but the
people who win are the people who are willing to bet on themselves. They hold their head high. Winners out work everyone else.

This kind of dedication takes a strong support system. It takes leadership. It takes unity, unselfishness, and family.

As November begins, there is less sunlight to spend in the pasture. The football games begin to mean more. Every minute of everyday becomes just a little more valuable.

SO DOES YOUR HEALTH. The flu. Pneumonia. All of these viruses thrive as the days get shorter.

Since we are celebrating 25 years of Athens Creekside Drugs, and Thanksgiving is rolling around the corner we wanted to give thanks to family.

So… We did a little redecorating to show appreciation to everything we have accomplished together.

If you aren’t a member of the Creekside family, in your hour of need, we will be here with open arms.

We made sure to celebrate the Anniversary of Mark and Mindy on Friday, but that date also marked the 25th Anniversary of Creekside.

August 22nd, 2000, is when Athens Creekside Drugs opened its doors.

Today, we are currently the longest family pharmacy in Limestone County. The Jackson family serves Limestone County in two locations. Athens Creekside Drugs .Salem Pharmacy - Salem will be turning 10 years old next year.

We are planning to create T-Shirts, Polo's, Hat's and other memorabilia to celebrate. Mark Jackson has poured his heart and soul into Athens Creekside Drugs. He should be thanked and celebrated for all he has done for the community.

We hope you will help us celebrate this milestone. We would love for everyone to continue to use Athens Creekside Drugs as your locally, family-owned pharmacy. For 25 years, we have treated our patients like family. The Jackson Family provides the best care possible, and will continue to do so well into the future!

We have big news coming very soon.

However, I wanted to send a special Thank You to VCU School of Pharmacy!

I will be speaking to the Student Chapter of the National Community Pharmacists Association in late September. I am very happy to have this opportunity. Discussing the importance of Independent Pharmacies, services to offer, owning a pharmacy in a rural area, and even difficulties experienced.

I am blessed to be able to give back to the Medical College of Virginia. I feel I recieved a top notch pharmaceutical education and am excited to return the favor.
