Though we were few in number, AMG went blue today in honor of Men’s Health Month. The month of June is dedicated to raising awareness for and highlighting the importance of men’s health and wellness. Our office would like to take this opportunity to encourage all our male patients to seek early detection and treatment for various health conditions, including heart disease, hearing loss, cancer, and mental health concerns. Our newest Physician Assistant Blake Powers, or any of our other wonderful providers would be glad to help you! 🩵💙

The staff and providers of AMG would like to take this time to remember and honor all the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom. We also hope that everyone enjoys and has a safe Memorial Day. Our office will be closed Monday, May 26th and will reopen Tuesday morning at 8:30AM.

Happy sweet 16th birthday to Miss Kayla Couch! Today AMG wears pink to celebrate Kayla turning 16! Kayla, who is a junior at Sequoia High School, is currently battling brain cancer. Kayla’s strength and resilience at such a young age is so inspiring!

The final day of patient experience week was a battle of the ages! The senior citizen armed with their walkers and wisdom versus the babies armed only with their pacifiers and youthfulness! We will let you decide were these glam grannies the winners or do the tots take the trophy? We again would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing patients for giving us a reason to work so hard and celebrate the difference we make in the healthcare field! We love what we do and truly believe sometimes laughter is the best medicine!

Patient Experience Week is an event celebrated annually each April, meant to recognize healthcare staff and their impact on the patient’s experience. This week is meant to acknowledge healthcare employees who practice communication, collaboration, compassion and their positive impact on their patients. It also highlights how healthcare workers, patients, families and the community contribute to and benefit from positive patient experiences. Being that this week is Patient experience week, AMG is commemorating by doing a spirit week! If you visit us today, don’t worry, we’re still here to take care of all of our awesome patients, but our appearance may suggest we’ve Gone fishin’ and huntin’! Don’t squint too hard, or you just might not see all of us in these pictures! Check back tomorrow to see what Patient experience week will hold, and the next time you’re in the office make sure to tell some of the best healthcare workers around how special they are!
