Halloween Spirit Week Day 1 : 🦸

Our team is full of real-life superheroes here at Dominion! 💥 From spreading smiles to going above and beyond for our residents every day, they truly wear their capes with pride!

We also kicked off decorating for our Halloween Event happening this Friday at 4:00 PM! 👻
Plan to stop by for a SPOOKTACULAR evening filled with games, crafts, candy, and family fun for all ages! 🕸️🕷️

Join us in celebrating Kayla Gabrielle “Gabby” Clare, OTR/L, our amazing Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist with Select Rehabilitation here at Dominion Assisted Living!

Gabby first joined Select Rehab PRN in February 2023 and became our full-time Clinical Lead in May 2024. She has a true passion for working with the elderly, finding joy in helping residents regain confidence and independence through meaningful activities. 💛

Gabby says, “I’m honored to work alongside the dedicated and faith-driven team at Dominion. God has truly blessed this community—and I’m thankful to be a part of it.”

Outside of work, Gabby and her husband Ben are proud parents to Finn (3) and Ava (2), and they enjoy serving at Hillcrest Church in Etowah.

We are so grateful for your leadership, compassion, and heart for our residents, Gabby! 💐

Ahhhh! Our spooktacular residents aren’t scared of a haunted house (or our we 😂) — especially when it comes with s’mores by a cozy fire! 🔥👻
Today we visited The Scream Chamber, one of our favorite October stops! Thank you, Heather, for sharing the spooky history of your home with us — we had such a frightfully fun time! 🎃💀

We also had fun dressing as ghost, church service, and family game night! Everyday is a great day at Dominion! 💚

Today was such a beautiful day at Guthrie Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze! From our tractor ride, to the petting zoo, riding the bumble bees, playing in the corn, picking flowers, finding the perfect pumpkin, and enjoying a cozy picnic — it was truly the best day. We even made it out just before the rain started! 🌧️🎃

A big thank you to Gentiva Hospice and Select Therapy for volunteering and joining us on our fun-filled trip — we are so grateful for your helping hands and warm hearts! 💕

While some of our residents stayed home, they enjoyed a fun game of bingo with Sandy from Hearth Hospice, and we brought back beautiful flowers to share with everyone! 🩵

Every day is a great day at Dominion! 💚

It was an honor to dedicate our fountain in remembrance of two amazing individuals: Former Resident, Betty Hutsell, and Daughter, Karen Sullivan. We loved having them as a part of the Dominion family and they are truly missed! ❤️

A big thank you to our amazing community partners for their generous donations — Lowe’s, Tractor Supply, Walmart, and Mr. Rickey Hope’s Produce Stand! We still have a few finishing touches to add, but we already love how cozy and festive our Dominion home feels this season! 🧡

🎀 Today we celebrated National Pink Out Day! 🎀
Our Dominion family came together to honor those who have fought, those who are still fighting, and those we remember with love — including our very own Life Enrichment Assistant, Rebekah. 💕

From making pink keychains to adding a pop of pink to our hair and enjoying sweet treats, it was a beautiful day filled with hope, love, and support for breast cancer awareness. 💗
