Our new mission is to provide accessible, affordable, compassionate counseling and education services to Athens and surrounding areas in a welcoming space where individuals, families, and communities feel seen, heard, and supported.

As a team we serve as a model for other DUI or DWI courts nationally. The Athens-Clarke County DUI Treatment Court has been awarded Academy Court status in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2020, and 2023 by the National Center for DUI and DWI Courts (NCDC). As an academy court we are a model to train other courts in the nation. We help develop, identify and test national best practices for DWI treatment courts, provide technical assistance, and host jurisdictions interested in starting their own DWI treatment court.
