We are pleased to announce that Albany Chiropractic will be seeing patients 2 days per week beginning Tuesday, March 16th. We will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment only. Although Dr. B and some of our staff and patients are now fully immunized the office will continue to follow state and CDC recommendations regarding COVID protocols. Therefore mask wearing and wellness checks upon entering the building will still be required for now. If you would like to schedule an appointment call the office at 740-698-3181 and Judy or Dr. B will return your call.

Due to the continuing COVID 19 situation we have reduced our office hours. The expected wait time for an appointment could be up to 2 months. Update: Due to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in our area we have reduced the number of patients we can serve. Therefore wait time for an appointment has increased significantly. If you would like to schedule an appointment you can call the office and leave your name and number. Judy or Dr. Baumgartel will return your call. If you need to be seen right away you can call Dr. Carey at 740-592-5511 or Dr. Freed at 740-589-2225. Both of theses doctors can see patients within 1-2 days. We are very sorry about any inconvenience and wish you all peace and good health during this difficult time.

UPDATE: We continue to monitor the situation and have set a new target open date for early to mid May. If you were an active patient when we closed you may be getting a call in the next week or two to get an appointment set up for you. We are currently working on developing protocols for when we re-open to keep everyone as safe as possible. Be assured we plan to be back very soon and,as stated below, if you would like to speak to Dr. Baumgartel, just call the office and leave a message and he will call you back.

In an abundance of caution and to do our part in following CDC recommendations we are closing both the McArthur and Albany offices for the next three weeks. We will continue to monitor the situation but our goal is to re-open the Albany office on Tuesday, April 14th. If you have questions or concerns or need to discuss your case please call the office at 740-698-3181 and leave a message indicating that you would like for Dr. Baumgartel to call you. He will respond within 24 hours. In case of an emergency please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room or urgent care. We are committed to doing all we can to support our patients during this time and to re-opening our offices as soon as possible. Be well.

Our offices in Albany and McArthur are closed this week while we assess the situation - we hope to have more definitive information by Friday. It is our goal to open again the next week in Albany in a slightly different configuration that will minimize risk. The Mcarthur office will stay closed until further notice. Depending on our assessment we may open in Albany Thursdays from 5-8 to accommodate our Mcarthur patients with chiropractic care and massage therapy. This will be in addition to our regular hours. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to make sure we can continue providing care in the safest manner possible.
