It’s been one week since , a band made up of current Camp Amped students Ella Adams, Finn Sleppy, and Sam Caspary, took the stage at the historic Ryman Auditorium to open for Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit on the first night of their 10-year anniversary residency… we’re still pinching ourselves. They were joined by their talented friends Brodie Cade, Emerson McMaken, and Arrow Callahan.
The band performed a full set of all-original music and rose beautifully to the moment. As Ella shared:
“The staff and stage crew at the Ryman were so sweet and made the experience much less stressful and more welcoming.”
From the band as a whole:
“We had so much fun playing at the Ryman Auditorium and will be forever grateful to everyone involved in making this happen.”
Before the music began, Nuçi’s Space CEO and founder of Camp Amped, Bob Sleppy, shared with the sold-out crowd:
“Camp Amped is so much more than a music camp. We focus on building coping skills, communication, self-confidence, accountability, and season it with a bit of music. We only have four rules we live by at camp:
1) Be impeccable with your word, 2) Do not take anything personally, 3) Do not make assumptions, and 4) Always do your best.”
From the balcony, our instructors, who traveled 300 miles from Athens, could be heard shouting the rules along with him.
Thank you…
& the 400 Unit and team for creating this life-changing opportunity for our students.
and staff for your kindness, professionalism, and support.
for capturing the magic of this night.
Our Athens community - the 200+ friends, family, and supporters who made Nashville feel like home.
We are endlessly proud of these students for representing Nuçi’s Space with heart, courage, and authenticity. This night was more than a performance, it was community in action. ❤️
