A local athlete is two wins away from bringing home a gold medal from the Winter Olympics and is the first Olympian ever from the city, according to Athens Mayor Steve Patterson.

All Well-Being & Recreation facilities are operating on normal schedules today:
✅ Aquatic Center - No change to operation
✅ Bird Arena - No change to operation (D1 game is on!)
✅ Ping Recreation Center - No change to operation
✅ Walter Fieldhouse - No change to operation

Private rentals and reservations: If your rental needs to be adjusted due to weather conditions, we'll contact you directly.
