A lot of women don’t reach out for nutrition support because they assume:

“I should be able to figure this out.”

And to be fair—you probably can piece together a lot on your own.

But that doesn’t mean it’s easy to:
📉see where your intake is actually falling short
🐣adjust for stress, sleep, or motherhood
🍛 know what’s “enough” for your body and your goals specifically

Most nutrition advice is general, which can miss the big picture.

I don’t teach restriction, perfection, or a massive overhaul of your life. I help you reach your goals with personalized nutrition.

Shoot me a message if you’re interested in getting started with 30% off your first appointment! 🌻🌿

The story behind why Full Bloom Nutrition means so much to me professionally — it’s more than a next step, it’s finally a way to unite my 2 identities that often feel at odds with each other.

After over a decade in pharmaceutical sciences and a PhD in Pharmacology, I had a front-row seat to how the “system” works. I spent years studying mitochondrial health, cell signaling and dysfunction. But while I was an expert on paper, I was struggling in my own skin — fighting weight issues and a thyroid diagnosis.

I realized that while medical intervention has its place, we are severely underserving families when it comes to true prevention.

So, I did something “crazy.” I finished my PhD and bought a piece of raw land to start a lavender farm. 🚜 I wanted to get my hands in the dirt and my family away from the sterile “wait until it’s broken to fix it” mindset.

Through doing all this while raising two boys, continuing to work in clinical oncology, and spending two months in India every year, I found my true calling with Full Bloom Nutrition:
I’m here to bridge the gap between high-level Western science and traditional, root-cause nutrition. I don’t just want your family to be “not sick” — I want you to be truly, vibrantly healthy.

I’m Stacey, PhD & Nutrition Counselor, and I’m here to help you reclaim your family’s wellness through the power of what’s on your plate and how you move your body.

Welcome to a new take on healthcare. 🌿

🎉 This is probably the single announcement I’ve been most excited to make in this journey of launching my nutrition practice! I am so pumped that I’ve figured out a way to combine my love for our lavender farm & my passion for holistic health and nutrition.

So, this summer I’ll be hosting nutrition workshops at Blooming Fields Lavender Farm . Groups will be small for better personalization, so spots will be limited.

Dates to be announced in May 🌸👩‍🍳

Most of us went through a huge change when we became mothers — and the changes keep coming with every new milestone your children reach. We never had the chance to think about what these life changes meant to our health, especially our diet.

From eating like you’re on the run, to reaching for the boxed dinners a bit more often that you’d like, to neglecting your own need to pause for a sip of water — all these things are now a part of daily life for many parents.

One of the biggest motivations behind starting this nutrition practice is helping parents move away from the pressure of perfect diets (which are usually unattainable and unrealistic) and toward simple, sustainable ways of eating well.

Because good nutrition should make life feel better — not more stressful.

Nutrition counseling helps you:
🍛 design your own personalized toolkit to create healthy, nutritious meals that fit your family’s health goals, circumstances, and budget.
🥦 to understand your actual nutrient needs and how to reach them with real food.
💪 to reach health goals without restriction, judgement, or extreme protocols.
🌯 build food and kitchen confidence.
🧬 translate nutrition science into real life, w**d through internet trends, and deliver lasting positive change through diet.

When I first became a mother, finding time to think about and prepare wholesome, nutritionally balanced foods suddenly became a lot harder.

Before kids, cooking fun homemade meals was just a normal part of my day. It used to be a daily ritual for my husband and I to walk to our local grocery store after work, decide what to eat, and buy the ingredients on the spot. 🥦

After kids… life looked more like eating cold, uneaten bites from tiny plates, holding everything together just enough to make the same easy dishes multiple nights a week, and trying to make food choices for my family while exhausted and uninspired. 🥱

And yes, can it still look like this.. that’s real life. But I’ve found my way to prevent this cycle from spiraling into convenient, low-quality foods that fill stomachs and not much else.
💊I didn’t want to rely on supplements to feel satisfied with what I took in for the day.
🥘I wanted food to be satisfying and nourishing for myself and my family — and I wanted that to reflect in my health, energy, and ability to thrive despite the inevitable chaos of life.

This wild journey inspired me to formalize my nutrition training — at first just for myself.

However, this spark lit a fire in me to help other families get out of survival mode and find a way better to truly nourish their family with real foods.

🌻So I started Full Bloom Nutrition — finally a way for me to connect my passions for cooking, science, and simple-living philosophy.

Starting this Spring, my small nutrition practice will be offering:

👩‍💻virtual 1:1 nutrition consultations for busy families who are overwhelmed and unsatisfied with their current approach to food
🗓️practical family-friendly whole-foods focused workshops at our lavender farm Blooming Fields Lavender Farm

My goal is simple: help busy families make nourishing, wholesome, from-scratch food realistic again.

✨ 2025 Nutrition Science Wrap-Up ✨

2025 made one thing clear: nutrition isn’t about perfection — it’s about patterns, food quality, and habits you can actually sustain.

Key takeaways:
1️⃣ Food processing matters — less processed meals support better metabolic health than food made on an assembly line, even with the same calories and macros.
2️⃣ Patterns beat single foods — what you eat most days shapes your health far more than occasional treats.
3️⃣ Sustainable beats extreme — diets that fit your life, combined with small lifestyle habits, have the biggest long-term impact.

Nutrition science is moving away from counting every gram or labeling foods as “good” or “bad,” and toward helping people build realistic, maintainable habits.

Though these points might sound simple, when your life already feels busy, chaotic, or like you’re just scraping by, making these changes isn’t always easy. This is where a nutrition professional can help — not to make you count, measure, or weigh better — but to assess your daily life and work with you to find small, meaningful changes that actually fit. Because that’s how real, sustainable change happens. 💡

How were you taught to think about treats growing up?

I usually often see extremes: both extreme restriction with vilifying foods, or extreme acceptance with viewing treats almost equal to any other food.

As usual with extremes, neither of these are ideal. Healthy food habits are built on accepting that we enjoy treats — these may be sugary, greasy, or salty snack foods — and allowing ourselves to enjoy these while remaining unwavering in our core nutrition intake of wholesome, healthy meals.
