I have had the honor of collaborating with fellow doulas to begin our holistic birthwork as one, and The Motherhood Healing Collective was birthed.

Our collective is committed to supporting Black and Indigenous mothers by sharing ancestral wisdom, native healing practices, holistic education, and community-building initiatives. We have recently partnered with the Global Doula Project to raise funds for our mission: addressing the significant maternal- and infant health challenges in our communities. Just to touch on postpartum care. Postpartum care is so underrated. Everyone should be allowed to have the proper postpartum experience. It's not lazy to have someone come in and assist you until you are healed or ready. You are not a bother, and your emotions are real.

Doulas are important, we make a difference. Moving together will get us further. One of the many Doulas I have met and has not switched up, Representative Park Cannon. She invited me down to the Capital. She told me all about her endeavors and how's she is fighting for funding for Doulas here in the state of GA. I met her as Park and when she came out my soul did a little dance.

I had the pleasure of hosting a workshop on : mindset during childbirth as a birthing person and Doula. Took away something so valuable from that experience. First, I'm in my own way. Two, I need to act on the idea of seeking a therapist. Yes, I can speak life into a rock, but I have my own traumas that I need to find a healthier way of healing from.
