Joseph Collins, a resident at Glenwood Health Center by Harborview, is actively participating in the Restorative Nursing Program. Mr. Collins has been walking with Restorative staff to maintain and improve his functional mobility, strength, and endurance.

During restorative walking sessions, Mr. Collins ambulates with staff assistance and cueing as needed to ensure safety and proper technique. These sessions are designed to support his ability to remain as independent as possible with mobility and transfers while also reducing the risk of decline.

Mr. Collins has demonstrated good participation and tolerance of restorative walking, and his involvement in the program reflects Glenwood’s commitment to maintaining resident function and quality of life through individualized restorative services.💙🙏💪
