Grateful for the Opportunity — Again. 🙏🏾

It is rare — and deeply humbling — for a heart surgeon to be given the opportunity to establish a brand-new cardiovascular surgery program. To have that opportunity twice in one’s career is nothing short of divine.

From 2003-2019 I was honored to serve as the Founding Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia, where we built one of the Southeast’s busiest and most successful heart programs from the ground up.

My purpose has once again found me. I’ve been blessed with the chance to do it again — this time as Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at Reston Hospital Center in Northern Virginia.

This is more than a job. It’s a calling to serve another community, build a legacy of excellence, and deliver life-saving care with compassion, precision, and purpose.
