Through compassionate research, education, and coaching, spanDNA enables individuals to discover, preserve, and navigate their ancestral heritage in the context of the West African diaspora.

Masud, an Atlanta-based multidisciplinary artist, draws profound inspiration from the vibrant traditions of African and African American storytelling. Rooted in a deep commitment to showcasing the resilience within communities navigating adversity, his art becomes a compelling exploration of cultural heritage and storytelling.

This conversation is inspired by Masud’s direct work with Adwoa on his genealogical exploration in Ghana with Adwoa’s direct engagement and support.
