Mental Wellness as a Way of Life

The Cherokee County Su***de Prevention Coalition was launched in August 2019 by individuals and professionals in our community in response to the rise in deaths by su***de. Our mission is to prevent deaths by su***de in Cherokee County, to bring awareness and education to the community, to decrease the stigma associated with mental illness, and to bring hope for a brighter future.

The Cherokee County Su***de Prevention Coalition (CCSPC) falls under the umbrella of Cherokee FOCUS, a 501(c)3 collaborative that exists to improve the lives of the children and families of Cherokee County.

Our coalition is comprised of the following members of our community who participate either as core members or supporting agencies:

Court Systems: Ashley Snow, District Attorney’s Office Jennifer Davis, Juvenile Court Jazzmyn Montgomery, Department of Juvenile Justice
