Covid-19 Antibody Testing will be a available in our office

This testing can help determine if you have previously been exposed to Covid-19, have developed antibodies to the virus and are thus presumably immune to the current virus. This will allow many people to re-enter the workforce or feel more comfortable leaving their home as the shelter in place restrictions are being lifted.

This test does not determine if you have a current active infection. We ask that those patients who have symptoms and/or are concerned that they may have an active infection see their primary care physician or urgent care facility as we do not treat active infections in our office.

Please call our office to schedule an annual exam or consultation appointment at 404-685-8867. You may also schedule online at our website www.atlantamidtowngyn.com.

Please contact your insurance company prior to your appointment to determine if you have coverage for the Covid-19 antibody testing. At this time, Labcorp has not informed us of the costs for these tests if not covered by insurance, but we hope to have pricing information available shortly.

Our office remains open during the current Covid-19 outbreak. We are following and adhering to recommended CDC guidelines. The CDC currently recommends avoiding large gatherings over 10 people and personal hygiene hand washing as adequate precautions for most people to avoid contracting the virus. At risk patients should take additional precautions. Our office follows universal precautions and our cleaning/sanitizing procedures have been increased to further limit any issues for our patients. Patients should feel comfortable knowing it is safe to keep their appointments with minimal risk to their health.
