Hey therapist friends! Last week I shared that I recently created two resources/journals that can be used as a complement to therapy. I think that these resources could be potentially helpful to use as psychotherapists when working with clients.

Here is the second resource!
It's a guided gratitude journal. I created this because I am frequently encouraging my clients to foster a gratitude practice as an adjunctive part of our work in therapy, but I’ve been unhappy with the gratitude journals and tools on the market. I created some prompts for my clients to use, and I have now turned it into a guided gratitude journal. Gratitude & Glimmers: A Guided Journal for Finding Joy in the Everyday is now available on Amazon. Link here:

is more than just a journal—it's a tool to help you on your journey to emotional resilience and everyday joy. Created by Dr. Jennifer Steiner, a board-certified clinical health psychologist, this beautifully designed journal invites you to slow down and savor the small moments that often go unn...

Hey therapist friends! I have some exciting news! I recently created two resources/journals that can be used as a complement to therapy. I think that these resources could be potentially helpful to use as psychotherapists when working with clients.

The first resource I want to share is a therapy companion journal designed to help clients come to sessions more prepared to maximize their time in session AND to help them implement lessons and skills learned in session. This journal has several different types of pages laid out in a format that can be completed week after week, with the intention of setting clients up for success in your therapy appointment and the week ahead. Each week includes:
• Weekly Reflections pages
• Weekly Coping Skills pages
• Therapy Reflections pages
• Daily Wellness Log pages (7 in each section, one per day of the week)

You can check it out and learn more on Amazon here:

Calling all Mental Health Professionals!!! Pain Psychology Certificate Program Opportunity

I am so excited to announce that the Center for Mental Health and Aging is offering an opportunity to earn 14.5 CEU and a Certificate in Pain Psychology. This training is on a topic that is near and dear to my heart- helping people who have chronic pain to live the best lives possible, even with pain. The program includes 3 separate courses, including courses on CBT for Chronic Pain, ACT for Chronic Pain, and awareness of bias in the medical system when it comes to treating pain.

With rates of chronic pain at an all-time high, if you’re a mental health provider there is a good chance you will be working with people who have chronic pain, whether you plan to or not.

ALL of the courses are led by me, Jennifer Steiner, PhD ABPP, board certified clinical health psychologist.

For a limited time, there are discounts and bonus resources available, so check out the details by clicking the link now. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY!

I've been relatively inactive on Social Media this year, as I've been focusing on making sure I can provide the best quality of care to my amazing clients - and when I'm not doing that, I've been committed to serving the wonderful psychologists of Georgia in my role as President-Elect of the Georgia Psychological Association. This past weekend, I was honored to get to address the GPA membership as I prepare to step into my role of President starting in July. Thank you to all who support me and the work that I do.
