We understand the unique needs of families caring for medically fragile children. 💙🎗️

While symptoms can resemble other common illnesses, early attention to warning signs can make a difference.

Watch for:
🌡️ Fever that doesn't go away
❓ Unexplained weight loss
🧠 Headaches, often with early morning vomiting
🦵 Persistent pain or swelling in the bones, joints, back, or legs
❗ Lump or mass, especially in the belly, neck, chest, pelvis, or armpits
🩸 Excessive bruising, bleeding, or rash
🔁 Frequent infections
👁️ Whitish color behind the pupil of the eye
🤢 Nausea and vomiting that doesn't go away
💤 Constant tiredness and weakness
👀 Eye or vision changes that occur suddenly and continue

From recent grads to seasoned pros, we're all about growing leaders who make a difference.

The Leadership Essentials Training program is a seven-week interactive course tailored for office leaders in clinical and operational roles.

Each month, three offices participate by sending nine top leaders, such as operations managers, clinical managers and field support managers. Participants oversee key aspects of their offices, including financials, operations, team and caregiver development and patient care and satisfaction.

Ebony Blockton and I collaborated with Carriage Town Ministries for a beautification project cleaning up in downtown Flint. Meet Jayne, Nanette and Melinda from the Maxim team!

Beginning of a new month means highlighting our new ! Congratulations Rhonda, our team here at Maxim is so thankful for all she does and appreciates her immensely. The family Rhonda works with wanted to share why Rhonda is important to them. "Rhonda has been a little angel for us and especially for our son. She is very loving, kind, and gentle. She has gotten to know our son so well and is super intuitive to his needs. She is the loving and calming force her needs throughout the day. He has not missed a single day of school, due to seizures, since Rhonda has started attending with him. She is attentive, happy, nurturing, and truly loves and cares for our son's happiness and well being. A working mom and dad cannot ask for anything more when leaving their child in someone else's care. Our son is happy with Rhonda and I can absolutely tell that he likes her and responds well to her. We are extremely grateful to have Rhonda with us!"

Hello and happy Friday! Please help us in congratulating our Anna! Anna is such an amazing, reliable, and caring nurse. Our Maxim team is so thankful and appreciative of all Anna does. The family Anna works with also wanted to share their love: "Anna has been a wonderful nurse for our daughter. She is kind, very caring, and dependable. She recognizes when my daughter's mood changes and anticipates possible illnesses and can start interventions quickly. We appreciate that she knows our daughter that well. She is also a great communicator and always makes sure we know exactly what my daughter's status is before she leaves for the day. It is wonderful to have a nurse that we can trust to take great care of our daughter and who we can depend on." Thank you for all you do Anna!
