For me Pilates and dogs are my life and I have devoted a significant amount of my available time to rescue Akitas. Here and there I do ask for support as the shelters are inundated with Akitas throughout Cali.

Welcome sweet Cash, the Akita ( now Bubba )!
Today was Bubba’s “Gotcha Day”! We promised Handsome better days are ahead after being a
alerted by a networker about a young a Akita at San Jacinto shelter who was in need of a helping hand.

Bubba is a young, handsome ,affectionate, playful and calm American Akita. We estimate him to be around 2 years old. With his nails being trimmed, teeth perfectly white with no build up and a coat as soft as silk, he was def well taken care of before entering the shelter. Strangely no one ever came looking for him!

While Bubba is off to a better future we’ll ask for help getting him there. He is currently boarded until and if we can find him a foster home.

Boarding, food and vetting isnt free. If you can spare a few $$$ Handsome Bubba and we would greatly appreciated it. He did not receive much social media coverage while at the shelter. Thus there are few pledges to help us offset the expenses associated with his care.

We definitely could use your support to help us give him what he needs. Our new vet , PetVets in San Dimas will neuter and gastropexi him once he is done with his treatment for Giardia.
