Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom—of resilience, resistance, and a legacy that cannot be erased.

But while we honor the day, we also acknowledge the weight we still carry.
Because the trauma didn’t stop with the chains.
Generational pain, racial injustice, and community grief still impact our mental health in real ways.

🖤 Anxiety that’s rooted in survival.
🖤 Depression that’s tied to generational struggle.
🖤 Exhaustion from constantly having to prove, protect, and push forward.

We celebrate, yes. We honor our ancestors and take pride in how far we’ve come.
But we also recognize how much support we still need.
Healing is part of the freedom we’re still fighting for.

Let’s continue the work.
For ourselves.
For our communities.
For the generations to come.
