Most relationship myths are costing you your health.

"If we had more money, our relationship would be fine." Myth. Money reduces stress, but it doesn't create connection. Emotional intelligence does.

"Happy couples don't focus on the negative." Myth. Emotionally mature couples are aware of flaws—they just choose not to fixate on them. They keep sight of each other's good while addressing issues with respect.

"Love is enough." Myth. Love without understanding needs leads to disconnection. Healthy relationships require learning, expressing, and honoring each other's needs.

"If it's meant to be, it will work itself out." Myth. Strong relationships aren't built on luck. They're built with intention, awareness, and skill.

Here's the truth: Most people don't realize the value of what they have until it's gone. Not because it wasn't good, but because it wasn't nurtured.

Your relationship isn't failing because you don't love each other. It's struggling because you haven't learned how it actually works.

Healthy relationships aren't built on luck. They're built on emotional intelligence, respect, and intentional effort.

Your relationship is literally shaping your body.

Not metaphorically. Biologically.

Here's what research shows: unhealthy relationships increase sickness by up to 35% and can shorten your lifespan by 4–8 years. That's not an exaggeration—that's neuroscience.

When you're in chronic conflict, your nervous system stays in fight-or-flight mode. Constant stress. Elevated cortisol. Your immune system weakens. Anxiety builds. Depression creeps in. Over time, your body breaks down.

But here's the flip side: healthy relationships strengthen your immune system and support overall wellness. The difference isn't love—it's safety. It's peace instead of pressure. It's connection instead of survival mode.

The relationship you stay in is shaping the life you live and the body you live it in.

This isn't just about love. It's about your health.

You're doing okay.

But you know there's more beneath the surface.

Most couples live in this space—comfortable enough to stay, but not fulfilled enough to thrive. You've learned to manage the patterns. You've learned to avoid the fights. You've learned to make it work.

But what if you could understand how it actually works?

Introducing Relationship Mechanics—a series designed for couples who want to build intentionally, not just react when things go wrong.

We're getting real about:
• Healthy vs. unhealthy patterns (and how to recognize the difference)
• The unspoken rules that shape your dynamic
• Communication, conflict, and connection using John Gottman's 7 principles
• Intimacy, pleasure, and performance through a s*x therapy–informed lens

This isn't surface-level conversation. This is about learning the skills that create a relationship that actually lasts.

You'll also have access to a membership experience with workshops, workbooks, and tools designed to help you grow together outside of sessions.

The goal is simple: build it right the first time, so you're not constantly trying to repair it later.

If you're ready to be intentional about your relationship, this is where you start.

“Most couples wait until it’s broken to get help… but the damage usually started years before that.”
You still think you don't need prevention workshops for your relationship because it feels good? What happens if it stops?

02/21/2026

Your Relationship Is an Asset. Treat It Like One.

High driven professionals do not wait for their finances to collapse before calling an advisor. So why wait for resentment to build before investing in your relationship?

At A&R Health and Wellness, we advocate for love that lasts.

Traditional couples therapy often begins when anger, distance, and disappointment have already taken root. By then, couples are not building. They are repairing damage.

We created Therapeutic Date Night to change that.

This is a proactive, modern experience designed for couples 25 and older who value growth, emotional intelligence, and long term partnership. It is premarital counseling before the crisis. Foundation setting before the fracture. Prevention over repair.

And no, it is not boring. Ask our previous clients!

Imagine an intimate evening with curated food, drinks, music, and interactive therapeutic experiences woven into engaging, laughter filled activities. Real conversations. Real tools. Real connection.

Led by two licensed professionals with over 2 decades of experience combined, who are trauma informed and s*x informed, this experience provides structured guidance without the heaviness of traditional therapy. You will gain insight, ask meaningful questions, and connect with other like minded couples who understand that strong relationships require intentional maintenance.

This is not about fixing what is broken.
It is about protecting what is valuable.
Because love is not just emotional. It is an investment.

Seats are intentionally limited to preserve intimacy and quality.

If you are serious about longevity, growth, and connection, this is your next move.
Join us. Tickets are on sale at this moment, but the early bird special will end. Secure your ticket now!

In the event that you would like to book us for a private event, we offer that option as well. If you would like a Date Night with just your close friends, we can accommodate that too. 📅

Greetings everyone,
I want to first say thank you. Truly. Your support, encouragement, and the way you continue to show up for these experiences means more than I can put into words. Because of that, I also want to be transparent with you.

I am sad to share that we have to reschedule our upcoming Date Night experience. This change is unfortunately out of my hands, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I understand that your time is valuable, and I never take that lightly.

For those who have already purchased tickets, your tickets will absolutely be honored. Thank you for your patience and flexibility. We still have a limited number of tickets available, and sales will remain open for a short period of time.

I will be announcing the new dates on Monday, February 9th. Please look forward to the details. We are committed to making this event just as magical, meaningful, and memorable as the last one.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue offering both Couples Date Nights and the Singles Experience. These events will now be scheduled for April and May.

Couples Date Night is designed to help partners learn how to manage conflict, find resolution, communicate effectively, and understand the stages of a relationship so you can better recognize what is happening in your own. It is a different kind of space, but a fun one, with food, drinks, and real conversations that matter.

The Singles Experience is an opportunity to explore your patterns, clarify your boundaries, and identify your core values while learning about some of the nontraditional red flags we often overlook. The goal is preparation, growth, and becoming the version of yourself that naturally attracts what you desire.

If you believe in this work, please tell a friend and continue to share these experiences with others. Your support helps this community grow.

Thank you again for your understanding, your patience, and your trust.

What Are You Willing to Give Up to Become Who You Say You Want to Be?

Today is the day many people return to “normal” after the holidays. The calendars open back up. The alarms go off again. The world picks up speed.

And I want to offer you a gentle but real challenge: please read this entire email slowly. Not like a notification. Like a mirror.

Because the person you want to become will not be created by hope alone. They will be formed by the effort you are willing to practice—especially on the days you don’t feel like it.
As we move into 2026, I want our work in therapy to be meaningful. Not just weekly check-ins. Not just venting and surviving. Meaningful. Intentional. Transformational.
And that starts with one honest question:

What does meaningful change actually look like in your life right now?

Not what sounds good. Not what you’ve been telling yourself to believe. What does it look like in your real, everyday decisions… your boundaries… your relationships… your self-talk… your habits… your peace?

Here’s what I want you to know: most people don’t struggle because they don’t want change. Most people struggle because the brain loves what is familiar—even when it hurts.

If your mind has been living in survival mode for a long time, “normal” can feel unsafe. Peace can feel boring. Healthy choices can feel uncomfortable. Consistency can feel like work. And your brain will try to pull you back toward what it already knows.

That doesn’t mean you’re broken.
That means you’re human.

This is why the Stages of Change matter.
Change is not one decision—it’s a process:
Pre-contemplation: “I don’t think this is a problem.”
Contemplation: “I know something needs to change, but I’m not sure how.”
Preparation: “I’m getting ready. I’m gathering tools. I’m starting to choose differently.”
Action: “I’m doing the work, even when it’s hard.”
Maintenance: “I’m protecting what I built and returning to the work when life tries to pull me back.”

And yes—sometimes relapse happens. That doesn’t mean failure. It means you’re still in the process.

Stay with the process.....

Is this you?
You say you have “high standards” and “don’t tolerate nonsense”…
but somehow you keep ending up in the same kind of relationships.
Romantic or platonic, it looks like this:
You’re the strong friend, the therapist, the planner… but when you need support, everyone is suddenly “busy.”
You tell yourself, “It’s not that deep,” while your chest feels heavy after yet another one-sided conversation.
You notice red flags early, but you stay because “they’ve been through a lot” or “they’re not usually like this.”
You over-explain your needs, then feel guilty for having them at all.
You call it “loyalty,” but deep down you know it’s fear of being alone.
And here’s the hardest part to admit:
You keep choosing people who confirm the story that you are “too much,” “not enough,” or only lovable when you’re useful.
That’s not self-love.

Pause that endless scroll—your relationship deserves real presence! Studies link too much screen time to less satisfaction and more misunderstandings between partners. Try a tech-free hour tonight: put phones down, sip something warm, and just talk. Or, create a “digital curfew” before bed to unwind together. Small habits like these help you reconnect and lower stress. Who’s in for a screen break challenge? Tag your partner and share your favorite tech-free ritual!

You show up for everyone else, but your own needs keep getting pushed to “later” until you feel numb, tired, and stuck on autopilot.

Is this you?

Autopilot isn’t laziness. It’s what happens when your mind and body get so used to running on empty that “just getting through the day” becomes the default. You keep moving, but you stop checking in with how you feel, what you need, and what you actually want.

You do not have to stay there.

You have permission to change.
You have permission to choose yourself.
You have permission to practice self-love without feeling guilty.

That’s why we created a FREE 4-week Self-Love Challenge, designed by a licensed therapist to help you gently:
• Notice your needs
• Practice small, doable acts of self-care
• Rebuild your sense of self-worth with compassion, not pressure

Here’s how to join + enter to win a FREE 1-hour self-care massage at Massage Envy:
1. Like this page

3. Complete the FREE 4-week Self-Love Challenge (it’s 100% free)
