🌸 Welcome To The World 🌸

Baby Ahavah, I was blessed to spend the last several months being by your mama's side as we awaited your arrival. Your mommy was so excited to welcome you and I was equally as excited to support her through what would eventually be one of my most memorable births. Meeting you earth side was so beautiful. Your face, your perfectly healthy body and your extremely calm nature (but immediately ready to eat lol) made my heart sing. I promise to be here for you if you ever need me sweet girl!

To the Wonder Woman of a mama .kris thank you for choosing me to take this journey with you. You knew coming in exactly what vou wanted for your birth experience and you did everything you could to make it happen for yourself. Support you was so easy and felt like we'd been friends forever. When it came time for birth we REALLY locked in lol. Seeing you feel comfortable leaning on me (literall) in vour most vulnerable state let me know I did my job. Together we got through your labor and I got to be right by you and dads side as y'all welcome your beautiful baby's girl! I promise to be here for you always as postpartum is forever. Thank you for giving me a birth I'll never forget lol.

🎊 Happy New Year 🎊
We made it! 2022 was a very trying year..for myself, I realized I was experiencing burnout from going hard for my community and business the previous two years. I contemplated closing up shop or pulling back…we were all faced with the horrors of of our autonomy being under attack and the subsequent tragedies, we continued to brave through a pandemic and various illnesses. Though hard, we endured it all. 2023 is our opportunity to shine an even bigger light on childbirth and ensure that pregnancy and birth is no longer another life factor to merely endure.

To all my beautiful families that I’ve had the honor of supporting, thank you! Thank you for your faith and confidence in my abilities. Thank you for inviting me into your lives, journeys and homes. Thank you for being part of my miracle and dream come true!

Here’s to a year of joy, love, healthy birthing people, mamas and babies and the reconstruction of childbirth in America! Happy New Year my loves!

🌱 Welcome To The World 🌱
On yesterday, July 18th, we welcomed A’Nikoh T. earth side and into the AGGB family. This was an extra special birth because this is real- blood family. Having the honor of supporting my little cousin .__ through the birth of her one and only Sun ☀️ is a gift I’ll always cherish. To my beautiful and cousin, thank you for trusting and allowing me to share this experience with you. Thank you for trusting me with cutting your connection to each other once he came earthside and thank you for being such an awesome mom! I love you deep!

To the beloved A’Nikoh, know that you have the coolest mom who will support you through every phase of life. Know that she loves you more than any words could express. You are forever and always her baby: know that in this family, both ours and our AGGB Fam, we champion each other to the top and beyond so there is NOTHING you can’t do. I love you and I have your back from now till the end of time!

🌱 Welcome To The World 🌱
On yesterday, July 9th, we welcomed Xavier earth side and into the AGGB family. Mama was an absolute trooper as she labored Xavier down and out. When you attend births regularly, it can be easy to take things for granted but after all this time I still cherish every moment and every movement I get to share with my families. being trusted to supporting your body (literally) as you delivered your Sunshine means more to me than words could ever express. Getting to know you and your entire family has been the pleasure of a lifetime. I’ll remember these moments forever and I’m so proud of the mother you have now become. I have your back always and forever. Thank you for sharing this journey with me and allowing me to have such a special part in this story. Congratulations to you guys and I’ll see you soon to begin our postpartum journey together!

To my doula baby.. my little bud (our term for AGGB boys) Xavier, know that you have been blessed beyond measure with getting the parents and family you have. May your parents nurture every part of your beautiful spirit, may your grandma bless you with her wisdom and love, may your auntie(s) share all their cool and craziness with you and make sure always protected. Though you have the biggest and most beautiful family that has all the bases covered, know that I am always here for you as well. As one of the people who helped welcome you into this world you have a permanent place in my heart. May you find beauty and inspiration in all of life’s phases no matter what comes your way!
