I’m stepping away from birth work this year, but not after witnessing over 100 miraculous births as a doula. Thank you to the families who have welcomed me into their lives. Thank you to the mentors and colleagues who have taught me so much. I don’t know yet what 2026 will bring, but I hope you will continue to share your lives with me. Here’s to a 2026 with more joy, more sleep, and more love. ✨

Calling all expectant parents! Join me *in person* at Midtown Family Wellness on June 14th for our new parent / fourth trimester class.

We’ll cover: holding and soothing your baby, newborn sleep, and caring for yourself physically and emotionally during the fourth trimester. We practice swaddling, bathing, and diapering a baby [doll!] and I can answer all of your questions. Plus, you’ll have the benefit of meeting other new parents in the Atlanta area - because we all know, it takes a village.

What’s happening at CDC and other federal health agencies is unconscionable. Public health professionals are part of the backbone of this nation. Clean water and air, safe neighborhoods and hospitals, access to lifesaving services and so much more have been taken for granted. Our country and our communities are going to suffer greatly. I’m so devastated for all the dedicated public health professionals who are seeing their life’s work taken away.
