๐Ÿ’› We were so proud to sponsor the FIRST-EVER Atlanta Turkey Trot for Williams Syndrome!

This past weekend was truly special.
The very first Atlanta Turkey Trot for Williams Syndrome brought together over 250 wonderful people, united to raise awareness and celebrate this amazing community.

One of the brightest moments for us was seeing our friend Wells Esdale whom we normally work with in Aquatics join the walk with so much joy and excitement. Moments like these remind us why community matters and why events like this make such a powerful impact.

I have worked with Susan Hastings to learn functional neuromuscular electrical stimulation (FNMES) and she has been working on in her cutting edge lab with neuroscientist Dr Edgerton starting tomorrow although you can watch at your own pace. People with EDS and hypermobility may be afraid to lift heavy weights because they are more prone to shoulder subluxation during exercises like the bench press โ€” but there's a way to stay safe and strong ๐Ÿ’ช

Using one or two Foam Gym Trainer Blocks or Yoga Blocks on the chest while benching helps limit the barโ€™s range of motion and protects the shoulder joint from going past a safe angle.
