Welcome Ann Marie to Cabbagetown Art Center

Ann Marie(she/her) an art therapy intern offering trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care to individuals and groups. Her work is grounded in ACT and expressive arts approaches. She is especially drawn to supporting adolescents and adults who are exploring identity, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy. She brings a background in education and lived experience as a neurodivergent person to this work.

Watercolor Wednesday has stood a test of time and long been my favorite class to instruct. Having over 15 years of intensive watercolor experience and 3 years teaching, I take great pride and care in sharing my learnings with others. This watercolor class is designed for those looking to practice/learn new skills and those looking for two hours of relaxing artmaking. ✨💛✨

Sessions begin by warming up with short gesture poses, followed by a 10-15min demonstration of how to draw a figure. Demonstrations and assistance are provided throughout the session. Remaining time is determined by group consensus, with poses typically gradually increasing from 10min to 30min in duration. Follow our Calendar link to register.
