Remember The Jetsons? 🤖✨

Rosie the robot wasn’t just a cartoon character - she was a glimpse of what’s possible.

This week at an AgeTech Connect event, we heard a story that stopped us in our tracks.

A grandfather with quadriplegia couldn’t speak with his 4-year-old granddaughter.

But when he received access to a robot through a university project, everything changed.

Through the robot, he could play games with her.
And she started talking to him.

It was a beautiful moment to see technology meet connection in a different way.

PS: the first little guy is Hercules. He wears a 4T - toddler size. ☺️

The second was the robot used by the grandfather that now plays with his granddaughter. 🥹

Harold is the perfect example of who we love to serve at HappyTalks.

Harold spent 40 years as a banker.

He knows everyone's stories - who got married, whose dog passed away. ☺️

He misses being the person people talked to.

Now every Thursday at 10 am, he answers a call from HappyTalks and talks to Jerri who always makes him laugh.

They talk about his garden, debate whether the Braves have a shot this year, and laugh about his grandson's latest adventure.
