Moriah Bray, owner of Casa de Luz, is a holistic bodywork practitioner specializing in therapeutic massage for pain and stress relief. She completed her training in massage and hydrotherapy at Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, FL in 2015. Since then, she has trained in several specialized modalities of massage such as Ashiatsu (barefoot massage), Lomi Lomi, Lymphatic Cupping, Pre & Post-natal, and Thai (on the table and traditional). However, Moriah's holistic approach goes beyond a diverse range of massage modalities. She is also a 500-hr advanced certified yoga instructor and offers recommendations for poses her clients can use between massage sessions to expand upon their results. Knowing there is a mind, body, and spirit connection, Moriah completed additional training as a Reiki Master to offer energetic healing for clients whose wellness needs are more encompassing. This modality is incredibly gentle. Through the most feather-like touch I've had to develop in my career, lymph is directed throughout the body to promote the best healing (and therefore results) possible. While each body heals at different rates, for most surgeries it is recommended you come in within 48 hours and most patients will need 8-12 sessions in the first 3 weeks for optimal results! These sessions will help get rid of excess anesthesia, reduce swelling, and flush any other by-products from the surgery.

Post-surgical lymphatic drainage massage has been shown to decrease bruising, decrease oedema (fluid retention), reduce pain, reduce scarring & fibrosis, prevent infection, reduce stress, shorten healing time, improve immunity, and improve skin texture & tone.

In 2015 I graduated from Florida School of Massage where I trained in several massage modalities.
