What a beautiful time was had at the St Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church Holiday Help event. Kids had so much fun with the arts and crafts, there were so friendships that were rekindled and new ones made. It was a wonderful event for all. ♥️

A special thanks to all the families who attended and made this event so special. ♥️

We are also so thankful for the families from the St. Elias congregation who supported this event, we are truly grateful for your support. ♥️

Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities - a global day established by the UN in 1992 to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities and aims to increase awareness of their integration into all aspects of society.

At FOCUS, we are grateful to call children, teens, and young adults with a wide range of developmental and physical disabilities our family. We celebrate you today and everyday of the year! 💙🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💜

Share Groups are parent-led support groups that meet regularly to provide community, support, and resources to parents/primary caregivers of children with disabilities. FOCUS provides meals or meal cards free of charge for attending parents and primary caregivers. We kindly request that guests cover their own meal costs.

Eligibility
•Be a parent/caregiver of a kiddo age from birth through 29 years old and have lifelong developmental and/or physical disabilities. Some common diagnoses include but are not limited to cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, spina bifida, degenerative illnesses, and rare genetic syndromes.
