Harassment, incivility, and disrespect (HID) continue to impact anesthesia teams across the country, and new data shows that anesthesia is the most affected specialty for these behaviors. HID can appear subtly or overtly, from microaggressions to withheld information, and the consequences extend far beyond team culture.
