Did you know rinsing after brushing can actually undo some of your hard work? When you rinse, you wash the fluoride in your toothpaste away. This ingredient strengthens enamel and protects against cavities. Instead, spit out the excess toothpaste and let that thin layer of fluoride keep working for you. Your teeth will thank you, and so will we! Please don't hesitate to contact us at (404) 261-0909 with any questions.

Did you know some mouthwashes can cause tiny crystal deposits if the formula isn’t stored or used correctly? These harmless crystals can form when ingredients like essential oils or flavoring agents separate over time. While they’re not dangerous, it’s best to shake your mouthwash before each use and check the expiration date to keep your rinse fresh and effective. Have questions about the best products for your smile? Call us today at (404) 261-0909 to schedule your visit.

After your professional dental cleaning, your teeth and gums are at their freshest, so it’s important to protect that clean feeling. Avoid eating or drinking anything dark-colored for a few hours, as coffee, tea, and red wine can cause immediate staining. Skip crunchy or sticky foods that could irritate your gums, and hold off on whitening products until the next day to prevent sensitivity. Gentle care helps your smile stay bright and healthy after every visit. Call us today at (404) 261-0909 to schedule your next cleaning.
