What a fantastic start to March! We're growing our relationship with FYZICAL. They will be leading our morning exercise on Tuesday mornings — and this Tuesday’s session was a big hit! On Thursday, we enjoyed our R.O.M.E.O’s lunch outing (Retired Old Men Eating Out) to The Last Catch in Jasper. Emily provided us with exceptional service, and we all left feeling full and ready for a nap! Plus, it was a beautiful day for a lovely drive!

We had an absolutely wonderful Friday! Our day kicked off with a fun word game, where we joyfully named a state, country, or province for each of the 26 letters of the alphabet. In the afternoon, we enjoyed some lively singing and dancing with VJ Bill, which brought lots of smiles and energy. We wrapped up the evening with an exciting game of Family Feud, sharing laughs and making great memories with our families!

Our day may have started off rainy and blah, but that didn't dampen our spirits as our ladies eagerly headed out for lunch at O’Charley’s. We all agreed—the bread was so irresistible it might as well have been dessert! The service was outstanding, making us already eager to return soon.

Food Service Director Challenge, Week 4: flatbread! Today, Chef Eli kicked things off by making a delicious flatbread pizza. But what really brightened our residents' day was his creative twist on the Dubai Chocolate Bar — using flatbread, spreading chocolate, pistachio crème, and adding crunchy fried phyllo dough. It was such a delightful way to celebrate National Pistachio Day and enjoy the food challenge together!

Happy Wednesday! We’re so happy when Angela from Piedmont Hospice & Palliative Care joins us to celebrate our monthly birthdays. She always brings a delicious dessert, and for February, she truly wowed us with a red velvet cake topped with white chocolate cream cheese frosting. We wrapped up the day with a fun game of LCR!
