The safety and well-being of our residents are of the utmost importance. We understand that entrusting us with the care of our residents comes with a significant expectation of security and privacy and we are proactively enhancing our security measures and entry protocols to ensure we provide an environment that is not only welcoming but also aligns with the highest security standards.

As part of this commitment, we are excited to announce our partnership with Accushield, a leader in visitor and entry management for senior living communities. The introduction of the Accushield sign-in system at our community is a significant step towards strengthening the visitor security of our community.

For family members and friends visiting their loved ones, we want to assure you that the process of signing into an Accushield kiosk when you visit is quite simple and respectful of your privacy. The first time you sign in, it will take approximately one minute since you’ll be creating your account. You’ll notice that each subsequent sign in will be much quicker since you’ll already have an account. The kiosk will collect only essential information and this information will remain confidential. You will receive a name badge to wear so that everyone on the property can easily identify approved guests. When you leave, please make sure to sign out of the kiosk. This step is equally as important as signing in since it allows us to keep an accurate record of who is currently onsite. We understand the importance of your visits and have designed the system to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for our guests.

When winter weather decides to make an appearance, our teams are already one step ahead. From staffing and supplies to meals, warmth, and resident comfort—we’ve got it covered. Our residents are cozy, cared for, and in very good hands… and yes, the coffee is hot and the blankets are extra fluffy. Our friends from Piedmont Hospice & Palliative Care joined us yesterday for our exhilarating edition of the Winter Olympics! The day was packed with laughter, hilarious shenanigans, and nonstop fun!
