Trauma isn’t “just in your head.” It leaves real imprints on both the mind and body:

🔹 Brain – Trauma can disrupt the amygdala (fear center), hippocampus (memory), and prefrontal cortex (decision-making). This can lead to hypervigilance, memory gaps, and difficulty concentrating.

🔹 Body – The nervous system may stay stuck in “fight, flight, or freeze,” causing chronic stress, tension, and even physical health issues over time.

✨ Understanding this connection helps shift the narrative from “What’s wrong with me?” to “What happened to me?” — opening the door to healing.
