At 58 I felt broken. My joints were constantly inflammed making movement difficult. I had painful bloating. Couldn't sleep. My weight was at an all-time high and my depression was unmanageable. I honestly felt hopeless.
I thought I knew the solution for change because I had dieted for 38 years. You know the drill, eat less, do more cardio. Avoid the foods I loved. I did every diet under the sun. Weight Watchers at 13 (goodbye hormone development), calorie counting, keto, low-fat, low-carb, cabbage soup (yes, really) – all of it. I lost weight. I gained it back plus more.
