This past weekend Harmony Anesthesia attended the GSA conference. We had a great time speaking with medical students, residents, anesthetists, physicians, and legislators. We even snuck away from the conference for a little bit to participate in the pickleball competition! Thanks for having us 🩺

We're wrapping up our National Locum Tenens Week highlights with David, who made the switch to locum work for one key reason—flexibility!

“Being able to make my own schedule is a huge advantage of locums,” he says, noting it allows him to be present for his two young kids’ sports, after-school activities, homework, and family dinners.

His advice to anyone considering locums is to take the leap: “Pull the cord, rip off the band-aid—whatever expression you prefer. The hardest part is deciding to make the switch, but once you do, you’ll regret not doing it sooner.”

David values Harmony Anesthesia for making him feel like part of a team, even as an independent provider. He appreciates the strong support from Rad and Sasi, as well as the proactive office staff, and the group’s efficiency and organization. With Harmony, David knows he has everyone’s support behind him.

Today's provider spotlight for National Locum Tenens Week shines on Olga, a CAA who values the business opportunities and practice options that locum work provides.

Her advice to anyone considering this career path is simple: “Talk to other locums. Do your research and ask about their experiences so you can navigate this path easier.”
