This morning everything was flowing …me, my sons, the energy. And right when I thought the day was locked in, the car hit me with a stuck emergency brake. Old me might’ve panicked, got irritated, or spiraled into the “why today?” mindset.

But here’s the truth most people miss:
Your reaction is the real test, not the inconvenience.

When you’re grounded, little disruptions don’t shake you. They just remind you to slow down, pay attention, and stay present. And sometimes the calm you practiced earlier… the breath you took, the moment you paused, the gratitude you showed, is exactly what carries you through the unexpected.
