"At 67 years old, I’ve learned that good health isn’t just about taking medicine or going to the doctor when something feels wrong. It’s about the small choices we make every day—what we eat, how we move, how we rest, and the people we keep close.

If I could tell my younger self one thing, it would be this: take care of your body while you’re young, so it will take care of you when you’re older. Don’t wait until you’re 50 or 60 to start walking, drinking more water, or eating your vegetables. And remember, laughter and prayer can heal the heart just as much as medicine can.

Every year is a blessing—so treat it like one."
